Obeying God's Calling Into Ministry

THE  CALLING OF GOD AND BEING CHOSEN BY GOD :

Are you called by God? Are you responding or ignoring?.  Many are called but few are chosen. This is so because most of the people are not ready to respond to the call of God. Everyone is called to the glory of God. Don't get stuck in the difference between calling and chosen. The difference is that when you respond to the call of God then he chooses you and give you an assignment. You can be called but not chosen. You can be chosen by the response of God's call. It is an obligation for every Christian to share the word of God because all Christians are called to the glory of God. There is the need for us to respond to God's call. This is done by being a new creation. I will explain this too. Be with me to the end.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: Old things has passed away , the new is here!"

This means what we used to do in the past are gone. We are not what we used to be anymore. Our thoughts, our minds, our walk, our doings and in all our ways,  we are created anew and old things has passed. This means there is a change.
(5:16-21) The renewed man acts upon new principles, by new rules, with new ends, and in new company. The believer is created anew; his heart is not merely set right, but a new heart is given him. He is the
workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Though the same as a man, he is changed in his character and conduct. These words must and do mean more than an outward reformation. The man who formerly saw no beauty in the Saviour that he should desire him, now loves him above all things.

The heart of the unregenerate is filled with enmity against God, and God is justly offended with him. Yet there may be reconciliation. Our offended God has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ. By the inspiration of God, the Scriptures were written, which are the word of reconciliation; showing that peace has been made by the cross, and how we may be interested therein. Though God cannot lose by the quarrel, nor gain by the peace, yet he beseeches
sinners to lay aside their enmity, and accept the salvation he offers. Christ knew no sin. He was made Sin; not a sinner, but Sin, a Sin-offering, a Sacrifice for sin. The end and design of all this was, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him, might be justified freely by the grace of God through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.
Can any lose, labour, or suffer too much for Him, who gave his beloved Son to be the Sacrifice for their sins, that they might be made the righteousness of God in him?

You cannot inherit God's inheritance until you respond to his call.  You cannot experience or access the inheritance of God while you are doing something else. What is the call of God?.
2 Timothy 1:9 says "who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,". God  saved us and called us  according to his works.
The call of God means to be save and to fit in his plan. This is done by reading the bible and obeying it.

Are you committed to your own plan or to God's plan?
By faith Abraham when he was called he obeyed. (Hebrews 11:8) Abraham didn't even know where he was going but God led him to the land of riches. Through faith he was blessed.

If you stick to your own plans, you will miss something great for your life. It takes time to realize and recognise the power of God and it takes the gentle in heart to wait on him. I will make a video of this post with many clear understanding. Wait for the video next week. God bless you and may  Jesus give you strength to respond to his call.
