Forgiveness (ESUA And His Brother Jacob)

FORGIVENESS: (Matthew 18:15-35)

Forgiveness is not easy if you are not filled with the Holy Spirit you cannot forgive. Our own strength cannot do it all alone we need the help of the Holy Spirit.

Forgiveness is a seed. You reap forgiveness when you sow forgiveness. It is illegal to reap what you haven't sowed. It is unwise to discuss forgiving others to people before you forgive them.

Don't take advantage of an ignorant person. Jacob took advantage of his ignorant brother Esau. Jacob had wisdom and knowledge but Esau had none. Esau lacked the ability to think but Jacob had advanced knowledge about the future.

It was known to Rebecca and Jacob that Esau lacked wisdom and knowledge, he lacked the ability to think about the future so therefore they took advantage of his ignorance. Before then it was prophesied by an angel of God to the mother about the future and fate of these lads.

The reason why God blessed Jacob was because he was sober, persistent and was determined and hardworking. The Lord blessed Esau also because he determined and was sober after what his brother did to him. It helped him to open his eyes and be serious and be equipped with wisdom on how to make it.

Sometimes we have to be outsmarted in order to be smart. We are filled with weakness, failure and laziness and these things happens to us so we will be serious and have advance knowledge and wisdom on how to live a life and to think of the future. Sometimes these things also happens to us so God can bless us. Most of the times such situations help us to get closer to our blessings. It is only when we refuse to get better where we remain lazy and losers. After what happened to Esau he became sober and worked hard therefore he achieved and had his blessings. He didn't need the help of Jacob because he was blessed already.

Esau didn't have to fight with his brother anymore so he forgave him why because what Jacob took from him, he had more of it and it was not necessary to hold on a fight. We should learn how to forgive others and forget about the pain they have brought us and focus on what is ahead of us.

Joseph forgave his brothers and he prospered, David forgave Saul and he gained victory, Stephen was persecuted and yet still asked for forgiveness for the persecutors. Jesus did nothing wrong but yet still out of love he died for us. Learn to forgive and God will always forgive you.
